Will Handysides is a British composer currently working in Bergen, Norway. At Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, London he has studied with Gwyn Pritchard and Errollyn Wallen MBE; at the Grieg Academy, Bergen with Morten Eide Pedersen; and at Dartington International Summer School 2012 with Detlev Glanert (thanks to a scholarship from the Michael Tippett Foundation). In 2013 he was commissioned to write for Tête-à-Tête: The Opera Festival. His work has been performed by, amongst others; Composers Ensemble, Bit20 Ensemble, Trondheim Sinfonietta, Sjøforsvarets Musikkorps (SFMK), Vokalensemblet Skrik, CoMA Voices and London Youth Symphony Orchestra. He has been performed at venues such as Blackheath Concert Halls, Dartington Hall, Riverside Studios, Trondheim Kunstmuseum, Old Royal Naval College Chapel and Southwell Minster.
